I agree completely with you in regards to your submission to Artist-confessions about Homestuck. Anything that I have to be coached through reading, “It gets better, you just have to get through the beginning” and etc, then it’s clearly not worth my time. Anyway, kudos to you~

Thanks, Anon. I didn’t want to start a small war, I just felt that it’s unfortunate that something that clearly has a large following for a reason has a stunted start. It’s just not how story telling should work.
As far as I’m concerned it was a pretty respectfully-put, spiteless opinion and you’re totally entitled to it. Too bad fandoms are mean. lD; Also I’m with you, how is it not an artist confession….
I AGREE WITH YOU, thank you! I just…ahhh I can’t get through the beginning of it at all. I don’t have the time and desire to patiently wait for it to eventually “get good”.
Thanks guys. I need to stop reading people’s reblogs, they’re getting me down. People don’t think much about the person or reasoning behind this, so much as “they don’t like thing, they must be a horrible, idiot doo doo head”.
I’m glad I know a lot of friendly homestucks that respect my opinion, so I don’t feel like you’re all a bunch of mean dumb fucks.
The reason that Homestuck is so ‘boring’ in the introduction is so that dickwards will get bored and stop reading after a few pages. It’s supposed to attract certain types of people, people who have an attention-span longer than that of a squirrel’s.
Gimme a confirming quote from hussie, and I’ll take that as a challenge.

Filed under except this poor thirteen year old poor babby me opinion I bet I would love homestuck actually But I am never getting though that intro sigh

I had to reblog this post just for the Xenosaga I LOVE that game but yes-it is VERY hard for people new to it to get...
