Eli’s birthday is the fifth, but watching the fireworks the night before is the only tradition they really tend to celebrate. The can of beans is a festive (but adorably lame) birthday cake. Wyn innocently associates 4th of July shows with Eli for the rest of his life. ..And I’m sure Eli doesn’t mind joking they’re just for his birthday. Shameless reblog, back from the cabin.
